Adani Group – Kutch Copper Limited (KCL), Mundra

Kutch Copper Limited (KCL), a subsidiary of the Adani Group, has developed a state-of-the-art greenfield copper smelting and refining complex at Mundra, Gujarat. Designed to support India's growing demand for copper in renewable energy, electric vehicles, power transmission, and industrial manufacturing, the project is being developed with an ultimate capacity of 1 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) in two phases, making it one of the world's largest single-location copper manufacturing facilities. Strategically located near Mundra Port, the project benefits from excellent logistics connectivity and incorporates advanced technology focused on operational efficiency, sustainability, and environmental responsibility. The facility plays a significant role in strengthening India's self-reliance in copper production while generating substantial employment and supporting the nation's long-term industrial growth.
